327 mag update

I got 100 pieces of fed 327 brass,with my gp100,,havent found any brass to buy,in months.anybody have any to sell?
Anyways,,these cases have been loaded at least 16 times,and have lost 24 to body splits and neck splits.primer pockets still tight.
Almost all loads have been 1200-1450 fps,,these cases are some awesome!!
I wonder if starlines will hold up like these federals,do? If i can ever find any

Never have been disappointed with Starline. If I buy new handgun brass it is always Starline. Same for 45-70, 375 Win, and 444 Marlin.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Even handgun brass can benefit from annealing. Take the blue hue down to where the web starts and quench. Quenching won't temper brass cases, it's not like steel.

Yup just stops heat mitigation quickly!! ( Dont anneal case heads!!) ;)

Also,,this gun will shoot the rcbs98 swc,,up to 1450 fps velocity,with spendid accuracy,with a hint of leading just past the throat,,,small price to pay,for bot having to use gc.

Forgot to mention,,this bore looks like a gravel road!!chatter/washboard,the whole lenth of bore,,,but it shoots very tite,and minimal leading,,,looks are deceiving!

Doesn't matter what it looks like if it shoots good. Sometimes I think we'd be better off just assuming all is well and going ahead with our load development rather than looking to deeply into our guns and seeing they aren't finished anywhere close to what we'd hoped they'd be.

1450 with a PB cast bullet?!!!! Can't be done! You'll lead the barrel!!! Won't be able to hit a barn wall from inside the barn!!!!! It's all true fact!- I read it on the internet... ;)

Sure am having fun with this bird!!1250 fps,is where most of my best groups come from.
