3D printed large caliber MSR followers

Part of my available tool set that supplements my hobby is a number of 3D printers. Here are some pics of a some snap-in followers that ride on top of the standard follower. The magazine pictured is an AR Stoner 10 round .223" unit and the cartridge is a 450 Bushmaster with a Lee C453-300-RF powder coated with clear. This combination allows 3 rounds of 450 BM or 458 Socom. Note there is a small half-moon cut out in the front of the magazine that was created using a sanding drum in a Dremel as rounds would hang up when fed slowly. Hope this helps somebody.

Nice.

I have looked at 3D printers but the ones that interest me are more $ than I am willing to spend at this time.

What software are you using for design?

WHAT A TIMELY POST!!

Ihave had a 450 for over three years... In a bolt gun. Last week I ordered a upper (cause too cheap to say no) and its another 450! I grabbed a couple followers I assume someone like yourself 3D printed them. 10$ shipped. They fit mag Pull mags. Im hoping to make the ten round size work well. This is hunter for me so 3/5 is all thats wanted/legal some states.

Are you selling these?

I won't be selling these but will send out as long as my mailing cost is covered. The design was done by another enthusiast and shared with the proviso that it stays non-commercial.

I use Fusion360 for all of my design work. This item was designed and shared by an enthusiast, all I needed to do was scale it prior to printing to the magazines I use.

If i am following you correctly one of these devices fit inside a 223 magazine. And it will properly feed a 450BM case in an AR15 that is built for the 450?

The 3D printed part snaps into the magazine and rides on the standard follower. It feeds both 450BM and 458Socom just fine.

Somebody from this forum I believe sent me a request for some of these followers but I can't locate it. If you are reading this, please contact me again so I can get them sent to you.
