It is hard to believe but in a few short days, on March 5, this site will be 4 years old.

I am very pleased with how it has grown and the quality of the members. Without you guys I would be talking to myself.

Thanks for making this place what it is. I truly appreciate it.

Happy Birthday to the site, Brad.

Thank you for going to the trouble - it wouldn't be what it is if you hadn't.

I'd been talking to myself for a few years already before you started this because I'd quit posting everywhere else.

Brad, you and your family deserve the thanks. Were it not for this site, I'd be watching TV or dozing in this recliner with an old gun book or reloading manual open on my lap.

A big thanks to you, Dawn and Kevin. Wow, four years.

Well Brad thank you for the invite. I would also have been talking to myself if you hadn't started this. Our wives think we're crazy enough without any additional evidence required.

I've zero time for the negativity other bullet type places seem to exude.

You done good, Brad!!

Quit that other place 5 or 6 years ago, but the owner has not honored my request to delete my posts and information.

By the comments so far I think your vision has been realized, Brad. You made a place for those of us who weren't happy with the way things were going everywhere else. Cheers!

I certainly enjoy it here. ASBC is my first stop online when I start the computer up.

Congratulations!

I love it here, and can't quite put a finger on why?

Little freaky last Saturday on the bow shoot me and #3 son went to. We meet a guy in the parking area who's a member and ask him to shoot with us. Nice enough guy,mid 60'ish. He's a transplant from Boston and might've gotten on my sons nerves a touch... mainly concerning market size comparison between Boston and the Va mnts? Didn't make a chit to me but the boy thought he was being unrealistic? Whatever.

Getting to why this site is so nice.....

So talking to "Boston boy" .... and I have a cpl friends pretty durn far up the financial industry page in Boston,so am generally cool with the area. He shoots a Shutezen rifle, well I'll be..... dang,he's a member in the CBA. Dbl dang. What are the odds? But as he's asking what my CB loads are,and general chit-chat....... here it comes.

He starts to get the deer in the headlight look when the subject of velocity... chamberings.... absence of lube in any real quantity, etc. comes to the discussion. THAT,is what this site..... isn't. We,"the deer"... here at AB don't stand in the middle of the road looking at oncoming traffic! Choosing rather,to be on the 50 yd line enjoying a hotdog and a drink, yucking it up about some seemingly insignificant tangent to a discussion that, while it may seem completely off topic...... you might be surprised. Oh well, here's to the future, cheers.

This is the best casting/reloading site on the internet. I check in here 2 to 3 times a day.
And I still talk to myself. :headscratch:

Absolutely nothing wrong with talking with yourself. It guarantees you both an intelligent speaker and a very interested audience. :)

Thank you for having me!
I have been stumbling unmentored into the world of bullet casting. Very nice to have a place like this, to ask questions and learn from the experience of others in a friendly environment. So many nice people here! I only wish we lived closer together, would be nice meeting you guys around a camp fire.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Brad, what was the start date of the site? I was under the impression it had been around for some time before I stumbled on to it.
