401043 "short" HP ?

Got this weird mold. It's the 401043 ,3840 bullet but the Cherry was run short and it comes out 140 grains.
Take a look it's really odd I've never seen anything like it I don't believe it is a factory hollowpoint but it's done very similar and the strange thing is it's in a large set of mold blocks. Also the mold designation markings are similar to the older ideal molds not the current type.

With my soft alloy r it's only casting about .398-.399

It's an odd one for sure

It looks like a «lead saver». What sort of gun are you shooting with it? Does it shoot well?

haven't loaded it yet. just cast 5 samples. gonna cast some with wheel weight and tin to hopefully get it to. 400.im going to shoot them in A Beretta 96a1 .40
