.45 ACP RN Mould Wanted To Buy Or Trade, Or A SWC To Sell

My son-in-law asked me to inquire about the availability of a used 230-grain round nose mould, to feed his Springfield 1911 clone. I sold my Lyman 452374 four-banger several years ago and have only 1200 bullets left, and that is not enough for both our guns. I figure the RCBS 45-230 RN is close enough to that of the Lyman 452374 to also be a desirable replacement, but am not at all familiar with the Lee 452-228-1R.

Anyone have such a used mould that is no longer needed? I can buy outright, or I have a two-cavity Lyman 452460 to trade for either the Lyman or RCBS. The 452460 drops in the .453"-.454" range with my alloy of 2 parts clip-on to 1 part stick-on wheel weights.

If someone is interested in buying the 452460 the price is $60 shipped.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
I have a Ideal 452374 single cavity, nice shape. I just received a package from one member and think another member is helping fill a need I have. How about I send you this mould free of charge as a PIF.
Pm me your address and it's yours.

S Mac,

I will accept your generous offer, sir. PM inbound shortly.

If my son-in-law is truly interested in pursuing casting, starting with a single-cavity has many benefits. One of my very early moulds was an ancient, ventless Ideal single-cavity 308291. I still have it, though it has not seen use in several years.

If anyone is interested, the Lyman 452460 is still for sale.

S Mac,

The "Start Conversation" link is missing from my list of options, can't find it anywhere, so I can't send a PM.
If you would be so kind as to send me a PM, I'll reply with all the pertinent information.

Thanks,
Michael
