Trying to help a friend out, what is a good powder for 6.5 Grendel and a 120grain bullet?
IMR 8208 XBR looks like a favorite but I'm not sure he can get that.

Benchmark to 335 is quite a range of powders.
that opens things up for the old standby's 3031 and 4064 even AA-2230 or CFE-223 would fall in there as candidates.
I don't know if I'd look to the back end too much with 120's though.

I just got a bottle of 8208... Have t tried but also have t had reason

My Bolt Grendel shoots right at 1" @ 200 yards with AR Comp a d a Sierra 120 Game King and my AR Grendel loves Hornady 123 SST AND H335. Shooting easily MOA.

Both guns also did well with RL15. Dont remember trying 3031/4064 in this caliber bht honestly... Why would I. I hit home runs with a couple I did try there was t much drive to find better. ;)

The 120 Gold Dot designed for the Grendel is another that shoots well as do the 100 & 120 Ballistic Tips.
