That 145 RCBS works just fine out of a 7 TCU contender as well.

Yes sir it certainly does. That is a fine bullet in everything I've put it through including many thousands of 7 TCU 10".

Rick--I notice that you show a Saeco 072. I once had a 4 cav mould of that design sent to me for experimentation by Saeco 's John Adams '"back in the day,"(circa 1982). I don't think that the 072 was ever an item in the Saeco catalog . Am I correct?

Yes Sir you are correct on both counts. SAECO #072 has never been a catalog item. Was made for/by John Adams when he owned SAECO. Was an experimental bullet done by him and a couple of his friends. There were I think a grand total of 6 #072's made. I think all of them were 4 cavities.

If you weren't aware John passed away 4-5 years ago from cancer.

Rick-- Sorry to hear of John's passing. How well did you know him?
He sent me that 4cav 072 for me to try in the 7mmTCU which was in it's infancy back then. It did not work well in the 7mmTCU. He said "oh well keep the mould anyway "
I foolishly sold it a few years ago when I liquidated my 7mm moulds.
The 070 did work well in my 7mmTCUs and it was the very last of my 4 cav 07 series to go.
At one time I had all of them. The 071 worked well in my 7mm-08.
