A Brief Introduction...

Good morning,

I just joined the board, after discovering this forum two years ago, while I was overseas. I like it here. I caught the gunbug from my (now) late father, and inherited a portion of his collection, and reloading jun- er, ahm, supplies and equipment. The wife and I are almost done moving into the house, after five years, and the loading bench is the last thing to get set up in the garage. Travelling on church missions business currently, I'll be back home in Indiana all spring. Have some projects lined up as time permits.

The first is consolidating my stuff. I don't need some of the equipment I have, and I need to update some of what's left. Some other I just need to maintain. I'll be along, seeking input on everything from micrometers to gunsmith referrals.

Thank you for having me,

Bisley

Never, ever will yo have all the “stuff” you need. Or want?

Welcome, I can assure you that nobody here will call you a hoarder or pack rat.

Welcome to the forum .

I tried consolidation several times .... it was a success ......until I needed something I had consolidated away . Then of course I replaced it with a better one .

Did you used to be 'missionary' elsewhere, sir?

Bill
I have joined under the Bisley moniker on other reloading / bullet casting fora, but never as "missionary". The wife and I travel on church business around the country and the globe, helping our missionaries and small church pastors on furlough, or with special projects.

Reading posts here reminds me of the banter among exhibitors at the annual Mat Valley Lion's Club Gun Show in Palmer during the 1980s. There was a pre-opening lull after we set up the display tables, before the show opened to the public, and all this interesting conversation.

Bill is thinking of Mike who is usually down in Peru but goes [comes?] home to Ohio AIRC? once a year.
he generally makes it home about in time for the deer hunt there.
