I started with the Bino's.
I was looking at stuff through the 10 power bino's I couldn't find in my older 4X12 Leupold scope.
it was pretty disconcerting after realizing I had passed an easy shot on a buck with the leupold thinking it was a doe, only to clearly see the antlers with the Bino's after being not so sure and looking again.

Nice scope bit sure is a lot of glass for a Marlin CB!

I love my 10-42 binocs. Actually have a couple pair. Wouldn't hunt without them.

I put that same model scope on my mvp, only complaint is the really short eye relief (an affliction of the whole db series). I been happy with the $100 leupold 10x binos but might have to check out those vortex ones.

After working with it all summer at 100 yard targets I've really come to consider that Diamondback a 4x10.5 or so. Every time I go past 11 it gets just a bit fuzzy, not exactly blurry or distorted around the edges....just not clear and the exact edges of the wires get hard to find relative to target spots and lines. Still a good scope for the money, just not perfect. Any better takes at least double the money.

I was shooting the 25-06 yesterday, it happens to wear a 3.5 X10X 50 diamondback and I keep it at either 4 or at 9.5ish.
it just seems to keep the glass clear at those settings, like it bumps up against something when you turn the dial all the way to the ends.
