For those interested. Henry has put a side loading gate on 1 of there rifles. In the picture they posted it looks like they kept the cutout to load the tube from the front also.
I don't know how to post a link or I would.

Gotta have SWMBO "on board" with such moves, or the domestic tranquility can degrade markedly.

I don't object to the conventional Henry system's magazine-loading regimen. I have a Marlin slide-action Model 27-S that loads very similarly (25/20 WCF, FWIW). I thoroughly enjoy my Henry Big Boy (steel receiver) in 357 Magnum--Marlin and Winchester weren't available, and I got tired of waiting around and went the Henry BB route. And I couldn't be happier.

Henry puts up their rifles in some *interesting* calibers, for certain. That 38/55 M&B would have been a CERTAIN sale to me if not for the JES-saved Win 94 I had Mr. Ocumpah rebore its spoiled 25/35 chamber. 38/55 is far more useful by accident than the 25/35 ever was on purpose.

I only need 2 more Marlins to complete my collection anyway. Need a 35 Remington and a 25-20. The 25-20 isn’t gonna be easy to find.

Don’t need any Henry’s to complete my collection, the ones I don’t have are plenty.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Brad's wife is raising her hand, as in, I'll take one ;)

She doesn’t like Henry’s either. For that matter she doesn’t like my Marlins. Now the Win 92, she really likes it. She has expensive taste.
