A new M92. Who do I blame?

I see no reason why not.
I been running unique under some 150gr semi-sorta rounded nose half jackets using up some magnum primers.
they glide through the rifle and hit to almost the exact same poa as the Herco loads.

I'm wondering what the twist rate is in this Rossi is. Might be slower than I expected. I've got some RNFP 130gr from Badman Bullets loaded in mag cases. Was trying them out in my single action but I'm gonna give them a try in this rifle today. I may have to rethink how I load for this weapon.

Well the cowboy action bunch tend to go lighter for less recoil and savings on cost. Your hyper speed "defense" rounds are between 125gr to 140gr. So a slower twist would make sense. Believe it or not I understand their choice completely. Of course it trashes my use of Keith's in it, but then I now can explore some of the lighter bullets offered. 125gr RNFP bore riding type with my polymer coating might be interesting.

Tried those rather pointed Badman 130gr RNFP with 6gr Unique in mag cases. 50yds they ate the center of the target up. Went to 100yds and got a decent 3.5" to 4" group on the old iron plate. Then earlier, last week, the same profile of bullet, only 157gr, did splendid at 160yds from the prone across a small shooting bag of mobile range gear. This only confirms the 1:30 bore and the bore riding pointed bullets from Badman are rediculiously accurate. Also clobbers my use of 358429, 357446, & 358495 in this carbine. I was misled by my success with these bullets at closer range. Another reason I never trust shooting at 50yds with a rifle/carbine expecting recordable results.

Now I'm getting antsy waiting for the 125gr RF mould. Hopefully I can make it work correctly and that it performs well in both carbine and pistols. Tall order for one bullet to do.

they usually do pretty well.
I use a [Magma Engineering] 125gr rnfp for popping tree squirrels out of the dan Wesson, it also makes a very good grouse gun when roaming the mountains during their open season.
4grs of 231 in a 38 case under it is almost as good as it is under the 358477.
if you make it work in the carbine first the pistol will usually do pretty well with it.

oh that little 125 fp and 4 grs of 231 turned out to be the ticket for my mother in law in her later years.
I could get her to go out and actually shoot the revolver with them [little S&W] and it was about all she could handle as far as recoil.
so I made up a batch of 40-1 alloy and made her a box to keep in the nightstand.
