A friend of mine got this powder about a month ago and said that it coated really well. It flowed really well and a produced really, really nice looking finish.

So I ordered a pound and it came in yesterday. Today was warm enough that I was able to try it out.

COLOR ME IMPRESSED!!

It produces a finish as good lookin as the chrome on a '57 chevy bumper!!!

You gonna goober 'em up with lube now, or try without and see what happens? Might want to reduce the load a titch.

The powder flowed a d coated beautifully. But much like that clear... Its very hard to see if there was any voids.

I did lightly lube them when sizing. This alloy should NOT have been hard plus I sized them hours after casting. Sizing felt like a hard alloy. I assume coating causing that. As once lubed they sized normally.

Lube washed off but appears to darken the gleaming clean looking chrome.

take this for what it's worth.
[besides me liking that chrome a lot, does it come in gold?]

I'm not usually too distracted by "shiny objects," but those look great!

@CWLONGSHOT , is that top pic the RDO 359-190/clone thereof? I just got mine last week from NOE, but don't a bullet cast from it yet. They won't be as pretty as yours, as I'm working on a pound of the Ford Medium Blue you put me onto. Maybe someday chrome. I like that look.

What a tease. Out of stock. Meanwhile, please send $21.99 while I wait for it to get restocked, thanks in advance. On second thought CW, there are few more interesting options as well, just round it up to a C-note, that should cover it, well maybe not.... I learned that from my wife, she quilts.

Given the right light conditions, many of us have seen the rise and fall of bullet on it's way to a distant target, just imagine what a mirror on it's bum will look like.

OK, that's the one that inspired me to replace the one I gave away. Just got it. 2GC/2PB with plans to de-GC one of the two so I have a 1GC/3PB.

My first one was an original 6C, cast way undersized (.355") and this one is a new NOE replacement.

Great bullet, regardless of the color. Can't wait to cast so me in mine.

Showed my wife, she liked the color, so it's on the way along with a few more unique color options.
Just wondering, for those of you who are so inclined, how many PC colors do you have?

Bought some closeout stuff to experiment with along with my first order of three colors a few years back, mainly just use blue and green with occasional gold-fleck red that looks terrible but shoots fine. The green was giving me flow problems last weekend so I bought some new Eastwood powders including the same shade of green, a bright red, super-gloss clear, a darker green, and an OD green (lower gloss never worked well for me but I thought I'd try it since the main cost was postage covered by the rest of the order).

Kawasaki Green is for general use and going to war, blue is target/practice, red is for hunting or going to war against non NATO countries :)
