Ditto the fan and hot plate. Two great ideas I got from some of you guys on these boards years ago.
The advantage for me of having made a "mould oven" is that I can park the mould in there, take a break in casting for a few minutes, and come right back to a mould that's ready to go. When I start again I just cull the first three or four pours to make sure the temp has normalized to "casting temperature" and keep right on going.
