A tip for using push through sizers

This comes from CB tip of the day. Its a head whacker, why didn't I think of that.
Find a coiled spring (like on a ball point pen) that has an inner dia. just larger than the outer dia. of the ram that pushes the bullet into the sizer. The length of the spring should be the same length as the ram added to the length of the bullet.
In use. The spring just lays loose on the ram, the bullet is dropped base first through the spring to rest on the top of the ram. The bullet is raised into the sizer and the spring compresses as the ram is pushed into the sizer. But your fingers are far away from anything that might pinch them. You can see a video on CB in the tip of the day thread.

Caution! That won't stop you from depriming your thumb!

Good tip though.

Good idea.

My index finger is the one I seem to keep depriming. Man, if that isn't a "had to done it to understand" I don't know what is. Wife keeps reminding me that rats learn after two times. Yikes.

I just saw a video on this today, not on CB. I was looking at something completely different on YouTube and this tip popped up.
