That’s a good looking bullet Waco. I was actually looking at that mold on Tom’s website last night.

Nice pile of bullets there Waco!

I have that same mold and really like it a lot.
It’s my go to for my lever gun Ammo!

Is that a new design you came up with or something he had on file?
Good looking bullet. Simple and elegant.

Will be watching to see how they shoot.

I want to work up a load in my Fathers 1894 Marlin Cowboy I got from him when he passed away. 24" barrel with a slicked up action and trigger.
I am thinking hard about putting a scope on this because it will only ever be shot at paper and such. I'm just not sure what way to go optics wise.
This is one on the levers I think will benefit from a fatter .360" bullet.

The 24" Marlin CB rifles are awesome. I have one in 45 Colt.
My Marlin 1894C in 357 is a mess. It was a later model and is a pain to load for. It will take a .358 bullet but has almost no throat. It is very finicky and hates anything with a shoulder. Like 6" or worse at 50 yards hates.
For optics try a red dot. I shot a couple pigs with my 45 Colt and a red dot. It is like shooting a shotgun.

Suggestions on a good redot? I have a Holo sight on an AR and a Burris Fast Fire on a 10-22

Mine is a cheap ass Tasco I got 20 or more years ago.
Ultradot has a good reputation.

I think I might rather have a real scope for shooting groups as apposed to a red dot.

You can not hunt anything in Oregon with any type of battery powered optics.:sigh:

What? Wow.
Texas didn't seem to care. Never used it for deer in MO but don't think it would be an issue?

They do let you hunt paper with a battery powered sight, don't they?

No, you can hunt beer cans too. Empty please. Golf balls are neat targets, hit just right the spin makes them do some interesting things.
That bullet has a big enough flat on the nose to make quite an impact on anything it hits,
