Give me your overall cartridge length, barrel lengyh, and internal case capacity in grains of water (level to mouth) and I can give you some predictions.
Crimped in the crimp groove and 88 grains capacity puts 30 grains of 5744 at 1767 fps from a 22" barrel. Peak pressure of 23,000 psi.
35 grains is somewhere around 30,000 psi and 1975 fps and is actually going to burn all the powder at 17", so for your purposes and a plain-based bullet it appears that 5744 is a pretty good choice.
