Sorry to hear your account was deleted! You made such good, informative videos.

I have never used imr3031 (no access in Norway), but judging by the listed burning rate- and your goals, your ladder seems very sensible. Good luck!

Thanks man.

I see Gun Blue 490 a nice informative channel is embarking on a series of casting videos now. I commented to him to beware. He said its within guidlines. I replied "AS YOU Interpret them"

Wish him best. I wont pull others down to promote myself. But they selectively in force there own interpretation of there Community Standards.

if your quick loading some of the loads.
see what CFE-223 will give you.
Thats a new (er) powder that has come up allot with some scalding velocities for "regular" bullet weights. It might topple the RL-5 is the only 35 Whelen powder crowd!!

I do have a bottle but haven't used yet. Frankly, I am just a lil
More comfortable with "ol stand bys" when in strange waters.

i have full confidence in the cfe223 stuff.
it's really a super nice easy to work with powder.

i done some off the cuff no load data computer program wild cat loads with it and become almost an instant overnight fan.
it worked it's way up nice and smooth and gave gentle pressure signs near the top.

I ran it thru QL and it even has friendly cast pressures @ target velocities!

I have ladder with it and N140.
Both under 36/37K @ 2000 fps.

Thanks for suggestion,

it's one of those overlooked but kind of cult status powders.
it and AA-2230.
i've done stuff with 2230 where it shouldn't have come close to working, but it surprised me every time.
i'll be working with it in the 375 winchester when i get out the box of roundtuit's, IE when i want to shoot my Big bore94 again... LOL

I got to the range. But my cfe223 ladder didnt get there.
My N140 load did get shot.

I mistakenly grabbed three boxes of Whelen and one of Norma. All me.

The N140 shot faster then QL predicted with less powder. (Not surprising)

This was first shots with a slick side bullet @ over 30k pressures.

I was targeting 1850 fps. Expected first load to be 1700+. But got nearly 2030fps.

My second load was quite spread out. The third load was tighter. Last & top load shifted 4" left and was about same 2" pattern. Im gonna lower charges and try again. Im thinking its pushed a lil hard.

Overall Its a good start.
