I've noticed a lot of folks using saw dust as Flux lately. I've always used bees wax. What's is the concensus on the forum?

Would that be ultimate flux?

Beeswax is a sacrificial reducant, but it is not a "flux". Fluxes remove oxidized impurities, reducants reduce oxides to elemental metal. Sawdust serves the purpose of both.

Ian is correct, waxes are not fluxes. This is explained in detail in chapter 4, I highly recommend the entire book but Chapter 4 is specific to flux.
