KPIG was the radio station of choice for three different shops that I worked in between 1994 and 2005. It wasn’t my first choice, but I grew to appreciate many of the artists that they played. I actually went to go see Robert Earl Keen with some coworkers back then. That show definitely wasn’t like one of the punk rock shows that I normally went to back then.

robert earl keen can't sing worth a damn but i love his songs! have him on in the shop all the time. every song tells a story.

and his FELIZ NAVIDAD! classic. i think his best 2 are the "learning how to dance" german oompa song the one where the lightning in the sky sounds like the devil beating his wife or some damn thing. my son likes 'the armadillo " best having driven it for years
