Buddy called me and gave me the heads up on a local estate tag sale. I never did get there before they closed up through the week. All but forgot about it on Friday, and darn near did not go then.
Last day everything was at least 50% off. I went through. A fair amount of stuff. Most had been cherry picked real hard. None the less, knowledge is power. Redding, RCBS, Forster, bonanza dies. Odd, they were all in zipper bags and not a die box to be seen. I bought quite the assortment. Some I bought two bags and got three full sets, others were complete. All of them looked to be new unused from the sticky oil on them like new dies have.
The cherry or maybe diamond was a complete set of Corbin 224 swaging dies, the ones for using 22 RF brass as the case, let's just say it is in the top five best deals I ever ran across. Bought for way less than the cost of one box of bullets for sure.

So,of coarse I feel obliged to have to put them into service and even spend a little. So I am going to get a press just for swaging. Called my buddy in Ohio and he is going to get me some brass coming some time. Said they had several 55 gallon drums full of 22rf brass, that is a couple. Most will be Eley with some Lapua.
Lol I think it may be another rabbit hole. Time will tell.
Going to make a "squirt" die for cores. Along with a 10 or so cavity core mold.

don't do it.
I started out with a next to nothing swage die set too.
now I got 2 22 sets a 38,44,45/458,30-31 set.
2 presses, a C&H press 3 SAS presses, core cutters, core molds, jackets, inserts, flibbty flabbity stuff, looking at a kiln bleah de blah.
nice and almost free to about 10-G faster than sinking a boat in the Atlantic.
