I picked this 6 cavity mould up some time ago and I’m not familiar with this manufacturer. I posted it on castboolits site and haven’t received and info yet.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Looks like a custom SAECO type SWC on a Lee 6 banger platform. No clue on the "Maker", or rather the person that contracted the design and mould, the "honcho" so to speak. There were a lot of people popping out custom runs some years back, like 50-60 people at least.

Good guesses everyone.. maybe time will tell. I’m going to cast a few up and see if they will feedin my Marlin. It’s kinda picky on nose profiles.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
If you're registered on any of the bullseye forums you might post your question & pics there. I recall there was a bullseye gunsmith down south who made very high quality handgun bullet moulds, I used to see his moulds on auction sites from time to time, but haven't really looked that closely lately. He always seemed to cut his moulds for Lyman handles, and he really had quite a following in his day. You mould looks like one of his, and I seem to recall his were marked similar to this one. I just can't recall his name any longer. It's just been too long since I dealt with these moulds.

Thanks for the info. The guy who used to own this mould had a manufacturer license for ammo. He didn’t do much in 41 Mag and new I did, so he offered it to me. A few years ago he retired from the post office and sold out his reloading stuff and moved. Otherwise I would ask him for more info.

I did cast a few yesterday and lubed them up. Got to coat them in BLL now.

OMG that is an awesome looking mould! I shoot several revolvers, a TC and Marlin in 41. That would be so easy to chamber in the revolvers and should feed like a dream in the Marlin! Currently casting Seaco #311 in a 4 banger for all of my 41's.
