At the range this morningIgot to checkout the Springfield 10mm. The grips were a little large ,but comfortable. they were doing an article on it and another pistol(380). I had to leave ,but am looking forward to reading about it.

Well Trudeau has now ended handgun ownership in Canada so any chance of getting the 10MM Smith died this week. If by chance there is a window openned pending the legislation passing Smith will sell one more auto up here.

Every time there is a mass shooting in the US we get more gun legislation. Go figure. Don't let the Democrats near your 2nd Amendment.

Take Care

I found a long time want the other day. A longer KKM Barrel for my G29!!

KKM now makes a 4.5" Match G29 barrel and I have one coming!!
165$ isnt a bad price either!
The G29 is slightly different then the G20/G40 so those barrels will not fit the G29.
The G29 has a profile size near identical to the G19/23 only yes thicker. But accepts the G20/40 magazines. Using a grip sleeve, that stays attached to the mag, it feels exactly like a G20/40 grip & provides 15+ capacity. Now it can also have G20 ballistics! Without its larger bulk!

I have wanted one since badly jamming up the G29 trying to get the G20 barrel to fit. (Ooh its a MFudger!!! Dont try it!!)

Figure I aughta have it here in a few more days. Pics to follow.

Good to know, concerning the barrel fit anomaly between the G20 and G29. I hope that extended barrel does the things you want it to do for you.

Though I have been retired for 17 years, I still assess recoil and report in the context of trainee responses for the guys and gals that I worked with and trained. For at least half of my folks, the 10mm would be a bit more than they could manage. CW, myself, and everyone else here is a seasoned arms hobbyist. Most LE folks are not. About 50% of our guys and gals get that way, because getting shot at prompts such consciousness-raisings, and these days a significant number of our folks have had that experience.

45 ACP they manage readily. 40 S&W is roughly the same, though a lot of them state that 40 S&W recoil seems "Sharper and faster" (their words). So few deputies carry 9mm full-time that I don't think stats are valid; that FBI-touted 147 grain JHP loading at 925-950 FPS inspires little trust.
