I load the SAECO 453, 240 FWC. I load over Bullseye for a hardball equivalent load. Great load and hits like a freight train. It’s what I load in my EDC.

Thats an impressive looking bullet!!!

I also have a couple Arsenal Molds. They have been great!

I asked them to have it drop at .454 and it drops exactly .454. They also said it would take a bit longer to get out to me due to the Wuflu keeping most of their staff at home, but it wasn't that much longer. I'll be getting a few more from them in the future, maybe... possibly.. the 295gr fwc lol, I don't know, have to see how this one shoots. Man I need to get to the range, stupid Wuflu.

Do you powder coat? Anticipate any issues with that nose?

I like this bullets looks allot!

I do powder coat. Uncoated the nose is .442, and after coating I get a mic of .444-.445, shouldn't be a problem for me as I intend to shoot them from a revolver (45 colt/45 acp) and a lever action 45 colt. It is a bore riding design I guess. If you intend to shoot from a semi auto it could be a problem even if uncoated if the barrel has no throat at all, I'm guessing the nose would smash into the lands.

Best I can measure is the nose is .189 to the first driving band.
Nose to crimp is .310
Crimp to base is .310
First band is .110 wide

I have spoken in the past about a buddy's 45 Colt wadcutter PPC gun, a modded S&W Model 28. His loads were a 235 grain FWC, and I can't recall the mouldmaker. Bullets were flush-seated. Unrecalled load of Bullseye, velocity was in the 725-750 FPS realm. Accurate as all-get-out, the object of the game was to help with scoring-ring line-cutting. Nice sharp cuts and neat 45 caliber holes in paper targets. He competed with it for a couple years, and decided that the fatigue from the 45 Colt's heavier recoil out-weighed any larger-hole scoring advantage for ring-cutting. An expensive learning exercise.

I have shot mine a fair amount. They have not been as accurate as favorites (454424). Using same charges.
But by no means INACCURATE!!

I do like them.
