New to me, too, where'd you find them?

I quit looking at 29 ounces. May be a fine scope, but no thanks.

Weight is not really an issue. It's gonna be a bench rifle. Dedicated cast .30-06!

they didn't say where they were made.
they didn't specify a warranty.

if it were me I'd drop the money elsewhere, especially if I can't look at one in person.

After laying in bed last night, I got to thinking about what I read and probably what it mean. So I am going to rethink this and say. They say that their products are made in the "U.S.A". But their idea of being made in the U.S.A. and mine are different. In my opinion being made in the U.S.A and being assembled in the U.S.A. are not the same. I don't know for sure but my guess is they buy their components from other sources, IE lens from Japan, tube bodies from China , and other parts from places like Mexico, Taiwan and so forth. I doubt they make all their own parts.
Just say'in.

that was the impression i got too.
they spoke of partnerships in manufacturing, which could really mean anything or anywhere.
I don't have a problem with where they are made or assembled I just care about optic quality and adjustments.

I don't see anything on lens coatings.
I just glanced at them briefly, but I am going to keep an ear out on any kind of reviews.

Can't go wrong with Leupold, I your bank account can stand it. Fine stuff, have used them
for decades when I really mean it. Toy scopes - for playing around rifles, not so much. Real
hunting rifles, Leupold. And the Ruger I took to Africa had a spare identical Leu 2-7 scope with Ruger
rings, pre-sighted in, along for the trip.

I remember buying a couple of 3x9 vx-2's for like 99-129$ years back.

I wish I would have had the money to buy a bunch of them, the one I have has been on the Ruger light weight 308 since the early 90's.
it is still in great shape, and is repeatable up and down the dial.
the A-O 4x12's I have are still good but have yellowed and are getting fuzzy on the edges.
