Welcome!

I'd definitely try that 360 before selling it. It may turn out to be a gem for you.

I think the only identifiable problem with that partiular mould is that you don't have a gun to try it in. I'd start by correcting that problem first.;)

Ive been shooting cast in the .44 mag since 1963. Lyman's 429360 is the only mould design that I couldn't get to shoot accurate groups from either my Rugers or my Smiths.

OTOH, I've seen the 429360 do very well from a rolling block that was converted with one of the kits Numrich used to offer. Makes me wonder if it is a velocity issue?

Lyman’s 410459 is pretty close in design to the 429360. Never shot well until I got away from the “harder the better” mentality after re-reading Elmer Kieth. Soft bullets, about 20:1 alloy lots of soft lube (I recommend Ben’s Red) and usually .411 diameter for .41 Magnum and .431 for .44 Mag/Special. They work at low and maximum velocity. At maximum they are the best long range plinkers. Like any mold cast, shoot, experiment before letting it go. It might be a jewel.

PS
Of course it you’re already sure, send it my way! But I’ll bet with a bit of work will prove some internet experts wrong
