BLL new use

Tonight I was nose sizing some bullets and learned a new use for BLL. I had cast some 311290 ( I am unsure if that is the correct #) and had separated them into 3 piles. 1 for PC, 1 for 3 coats of BLL and 1 lot for later use. I was going to use a lee style push through sizer that is spot on .301.
Both the PC and bullets with first coat of dried BLL took a lot of pressure push the bullets into the sizing die up to the first driving band. And enough force was needed to push the bullets back out of the die that the nose was shortened by about 1/16th".Even I know the shortened bullets wouldn't work. But what to do.
I remembered 5R telling how he used liquid BLL in some of his nose sizing. Sure enough. I put a big drop on a plastic bag and used my finger to apply the BLL just to the nose area of the bullets. My gosh was there a difference. The bullets pushed effortlessly into the sizer, and took almost no effort to push them back out.
Once again 5R to my rescue.

It's even slipperier when dry. You can also roll them on a case lube pad.
