Any thoughts on Lucas blue marine grease for a 50/50 beeswax mix for bullet lube? It's a calcium base grease is my understanding... thanks!

Should be just fine. Alox is calcium-soap based, very water-resistant. The manufactured grease has far better soap compounds in it than the naturally-occuring Alox stuff.

there is a company out there that is famous for it's 2 different blue bullet lubes.
I dimly recall seeing something somewhere [from a pretty darn reliable source] alluding to them using marine grease as part of their recipe.

Hi,
I've been using Glen's 50/50 Moly Mix , for probably decades now, all I use.

Never have had any problem with it, works good up to about 2000FPS so far.

Smokes a little on firing but my Range is outsides so no problem there, and the ingredients are readily available!

I'd use the Blue Marine and try it out!
