I found this one in my LGS today.
S&W , Model 59, 9mm. ( 15 + 1 )
Excellent condition ( this one has been inside someone's safe for a long time.)
Came with two magazines.

Ben got a neener.....I'm in shock....didn't think I'd see that day....;)

Nice score at a nice price. I will warn ya though, 9mm's have been known to deplete a lead stash rapidly, cause hives from dealing with the bounce off the window crowd, cause extreme smiles of those you provide a full mag, & unleash evil spirits that will surely conjure additional 9mm shenanigans.

You see that, Ian? Ben done been brought to the dark side.

Nope. Not listening FB. No 9mms at my house except in the recycle bucket that got picked up off the ground by accident or stuffed in a .45 ACP case.

Did you know this ? ? I didn't .............

The S&W Model 59 was originally designed for the U.S. Navy in 1971 as a large-capacity version of the S&W Model 39.

My new 9 mm Dies arrived today.
I loaded about 25 rounds.
When it dries out here, I'll head to the range and test them in the Smith Model 59.

Heck of a price! The grip frame on those doesn't agree with my particular hand
geometry well, the 39 works better for me, but much less ammo.

Shot a few of those Lee 125 grain. They were given to me & I ran a couple hundred though my CZ. They fed fine but at the time I was still trying to learn the platform so can't speak for the accuracy.
