This is the hunter gas check.
The owner never cast a bullet with the mould.
Cast at around 155 - 160 grs.
Arrived today.
Just too hot to get outside and cast with it today.
Maybe tomorrow ? ?

Wow! I like that one. It looks like a good one to try in the 788 30/30.

I know what you mean about hot, heat index here 104 today! That is “No casting” weather.

When it gets that hot, I round up empty cases and reload.
Make targets, etc. in my air conditioned basement.

Just too hot to be outside with a casting pot.

Like owning a Porsche and never driving it. Who can do that? :headscratch:

If it is like my MP molds it will rain fabulous bullets, round and nice.

I just got back from a walk around the property, the first time in almost two weeks. No issues walking in the
fields and across my little bridge, and such. Good to get out, and I enjoy heat if not working hard. Temp is
88F and sunny, and it felt good. Fla boy at heart. :)

Glad to see Miha putting some real draft angle on that lube groove. I didn't know he made that one without the HP option, looks like the usual work of art he produces.

Wow, that looks good. Heavy, but good. I have only one MP- mould so far, my most recent aquisition. I have a feeling there will be more to come :)
Best of luck with your new mould, it has come to a good home now!

He's gonna powder coat them and shoot them without the checks ( :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ) Just kidding, Ben, I know you ain't and your gas checks are cheap for the making in your basement on a day like today.

Have that in a 2 cav HP. Have never shot any. Would be great in 30-30.

That is gonna make lots of bullets fast and also wear you out fast. My 4 cav brass MP mould is plenty for me.

When I lifted this mould out of the box, I said......" WOW, this thing is heavy."

The big brass molds ARE heavy. Fortunately, I have a mold rest on my RCBS pot, helps a LOT.

Once it gets to temp, it should just rain bullets. My MP molds release bullets better than most,
maybe some of my older H&Gs are as good, but few others just fall out perfectly at a slight
shake.

Bill, nothing drops bullets like a mould from Tom at Accurate. His are a level all to themself.

Ben,
That mould will make for an excellent weight training workout, for Trevor.

That design always required beatings for bullet removal in my experience. Nature of the beast.
