I have an 1892 Winchester lever action miroku made 2020 version. I cast bullets from a lyman mold 250 gr. Using 2400 alliant powder and 18 grains. I have found excellent accuracy. No problems using a light crimp. I also use alox lube and resize bullet to .451 and resize again after lining. I expect to use this setup on whi

I have used 300 & 310g cast bullets on deer and bear with prefect results. Have t tried lighter. But I have a new bullet this year a 250 FWC. I havent found a good lod yet. It only did OK with my fav Unique load. But might try this bullet myself!!

I'd go with the 2400 also.

I'd also size larger for that 92.
452 at minimum, or maybe even 453 if I had the option.
if tumble lubing I might not even size at all.
the win's have shallow rifling and need all the filling up they can get to do their best.

NOE is night owl enterprises in Provo Utah. [also referred to as AL or the Swede here]
just google NOE bullet molds and it'll pop right up.

My Lyman #452424 is a bit too long for my old Colt.
But it does LOVE the N.O.E. #453-247-SWC (old Lyman #452423) drops at 245gs from My alloy.
Titegroup - 5.5grs
Clays - 4.5grs
Unique - 7.5grs

if that lyman is the 452664 it's all you need for the 45 colt.
the only ones it won't work in is the 73's, and some of the colt lightnings because it's a touch long.
[the B-92 by Browning also doesn't like anything over the saami length]

I use just a little heavier than the 405.
but I would pick something in the 350 range with a nose shape very similar to the old school 405gr flat nose government mold.
if I wanted it for black powder speeds I'd go plain base and use 10grs of unique.
if I wanted speeds up in the 16-1700+ fps zone I'd get a gas check design and use 2400.

My favorite 350g is the Ranch Dog! (.458) Its a discontinued bullet. But occasionally pops up. Not sure if NOE or another offers a copy

Can you go 405 gr for the 45-70? If so this would be a good choice.
Or if you’re set on a 350gr. this is the same bullet Brad showed you only lighter.
