You guys are a good bunch, a few are a bit twitchy, but, lay off the coffee and you will be fine. Had to buy my wife 2 fifths of Pendleton's. Coffee for me and whisky for Karyn. Karyn's my best friend, but I think I might drive her a little nuts, hence the whisky.
First thing I did March 7th, buy to big bottles of Costco Scotch for the wife. Anyone around me all day needs it!

By the way, all the legal pot stores are out of stock. Although our governor has classed them as essential business.

Houston top cop complaining of increase in burglaries, 20%, just like most big (damp rate) cities

Local dope stores are open, too, but the long snaky lines have disappeared.

It's times like this that make me super glad I'm one of the .30% of Californians who have a concealed carry license.

The PA Liquor control board put up a website 4 days ago. you can place your order on line, Pay and they will deliver it to you house!
The site has been down within the first 20 minutes of implementation ! So That is not going to work!

My county just added another month to our house arrest.

Despite all the hoopla, a lot of non-essential businesses remain open, and it's not like they are without customers. Either a lot of people are acting irresponsibly, or they are stupid. I'm not a gambler, but will put my money on them being both.

That is really too bad. I suggested it to Costco, but they haven't answered me back yet.

Well I am happy to say that the lock down is helping me to get some stuff done around the house and yard. I hope to have my pistol range rearrange in the next week or so.

The hard thing for me is that all I can do about the current situation is to just watch it play out.

Well I had to go back into town to take care of some business I'd forgotten to do the day before. I think they call that "some-timers disease". Anyway I get home and take off my mask, gloves, outer coat, hat, and pants, then wipe down the steering wheel and any controls I may have touched with the gloves. Went to the house and washed up.
In talking to Karyn's sister who was quite upset last night, she works at the hospital, as two people died yesterday from the virus. After she settled down a bit I asked if the prevention I was doing was right or do I need to do more. She said it was good even a bit anal, but safer to over do it. That's the last time I'll leave the homestead for a month. Now if this damn snow would go away, I could get to do some shooting, still waist deep with 10 inches more predicted by Sunday night.
Locked and loaded, if the barbarians show up at the gate.

Actually I could use the driveway coming in from the road for a shooting range. There is a good back stop at the end of the drive, where the drive turns before joining the road. The target frame would have to be in the middle of the drive. I could use that till after break-up, then just leave the targets up to discourage anybody from wanting to visit unannounced. That should work.

I've seen it written: Second day of quarantine, wife got a restraining order.

BTW CV19 has twins; L & S. As I understand it, L is the killer.

I prefer to be alone, but it's always better when it's Karyn and I.
But, I remember back in 1976, when I was working on the house, under lights (generator), in the middle of winter, Karyn had gone back to her parents in Illinois for Christmas so I was going to give her a call. Well to call, meant going into town which then was quite an ordeal. Choices for the call were, the U of A Fairbanks, the Airport, or downtown on the main street for a working pay phones. The booths downtown were sort of heated, which meant it might be occupied by someone sleeping it off.
Well I had been putting timber beams up for the second story roof at that time, which was complicated as I was by myself. Lots of pulleys and winches and creative thinking as my winch did not have a working break. Well anyway I decided I'd head to town to call Karyn and wish her a Merry Christmas. I had been out here for about three weeks by myself working and kinda lost track of time. So I ended up at the Airport to call, with my stack of quarters. Finely got through to Karyn (who was quite excited to here from me) and was in the middle wishing her and her parents a Merry Christmas when she interrupted me. OK, She informed me that Christmas was 5 days ago and where had I been. I was kinda taken back as I thought it was Christmas. Keep in mind that Fairbanks back then they would roll up the sidewalks for the winter as there was jacks..t going on.
So after we put it together that I was lost in the space time continuum, we had a good time talking till my quarters ran out. Got it figured out when she would fly back so I could pick her up. I said I'd keep track so as to not forget and leave her in town for a couple extra days.
Point being If your somewhere that makes you feel "right" its easier being alone. Here its quite, there's beautiful night skies, and did I mention it's quite. It's the kind of quite you can listen to. I'm amazed that most people don't understand that.
Well I've gone on a bit here, but, my point is, reflect on your loved ones, and call, stay in touch. A couple of years after that, we got a radio phone which went through a local operator. We were styling my kids would say. We now have the technology to stay in touch, so do so. This is a time to pull together call and old friend, family and also enjoy the personal space.
