I'll put this up against anyone's case lube.
This 1 lb. tub will last you about 12 lifetimes.
A VERY thin film is all that is needed.
It is not a spray, but then again I don't use case lube spray.

Get it at any auto parts store :

lanolin and alcohol works perfect for pistol cases and carbide dies.
you just need to have the bottle in the same room as the cases.

for my other stuff a mix of lanolin [2 parts] and castor oil [1 part,, or more] is super easy to apply and it lasts forever.
just throw your cases in a heavy duty baggie add in a Q-tip sized chunk of lube and mush it all around till coated.
to remove the lube throw the cases in your tumbler for an hour or so.

I’m partial to the red bottle of “Heet” gas treatment mixed with liquid lanolin. I mix 1 part liquid lanolin to ten parts heet in a spray bottle. A quick shake and you’re ready to go. The heet is 100% alcohol and evaporates quickly leaving the lanolin on the case for lubrication. The lanolin is easy to remove from the cases.

IMO the RCBS stuff is pretty much STP, which is basically motor oil with a ton of paratack thrown in.

I PRETTY MUCH MAKE THE SAME THING. Anything 99 % pure alcohol, or higher. pure lanolin, coconut oil. 9 : 1.5 :.5
Been using the first batch I made for 3 years still only about a third thru it.
Never had a stuck case. However did try it direct without waiting for it to dry once and put a few Hydraulic dents in some .556 brass.
Smells a lot better on your hands, then just sheep sweat.

Same here Red Heat and Lanolin.
OR and actually preferred for case forming Imperial Sizing wax. Also a tube of unique works very well too. Dillon is same as what you can make and you can make for ALLOT CHEAPER!

No not ever one shot for case lube. BUT works nice as a release agent for glass bedding. ;)

Mink oil is suppose to be as good as Unique case lube and much cheaper. Found in the shoe section of Wally World.

I don't know how much cheaper than Unique ya could get, one tub lasts a lifetime and if it doesn't you use too much.

That's where it sits, on the bench. I also use it to run bullets , though the Star, when I'm only sizing and applying a GC, not lubing. In preparation of heat treating.

Ok, 10 years. That's 3,650 days. A tub of unique at current prices is $5.99. 5..99 divided by 3,650 is 0.0016 cents per day. Yep, best get that price down.
