CastBoolits forum

Long about Tuesday last Microsoft "helped" me out my updating my computer/web browser. Ever since I can't get the site to load, at all. Even if I try through Google it won't.

Is the site down? Or am I just fortunate to have Microsoft be so helpful?

They are in the midst of a server swap over there. Sometimes the site partially works and someimes it doesn't. Right now I'm getting this error:

I get the same screen as shown. I reached out to a few friends that visit that site and have not had a reply so far. These things happen. Most Forums have different levels of skill and experience as well as meaningful participation.

That site shut down on Thursday in order to change over to a new server. It was back up on Friday and works for me a few minutes ago.

Don't work for me! I get the same lines of stuff as in post #2. I can (sometimes) get the site to come up on my computer but when I try to do anything, i.e. open a sub-forum or contact the site mods etc. the lines of stuff pop back up. If someone here is able, maybe you would be so kind as to contact the site and ask them to look into the problem.

Blackthorn the moderator over there told another with similar problems that if he remembered his password to clear browsing history and cookies and log in anew fresh.
Might be worth a try.

There are several members unable to access the site, it's regional.
They are well aware of the issues.
Be patient, they'll get it fixed.

The Microsoft upgrade referenced early on in this thread is where Microsoft Edge now requires sites to be SSL. This is actually a good thing, and all websites should be using encrypted traffic - it really is in your best interest, as an end user.

As for the referenced forum, I'll just say it's evident there's some basic web knowledge that's lacking, and that's what is causing the issues for those trying to use Edge.

I tried CB from a web search and got straight in. I'm not registered there anymore (thankfully), and I could see everything.

Maybe the rest of you just got fired or sumpin'. Did you remember to pay your tribute?
