I have had it in my head to do a couple things for a while now.
Thursday, I wanted to set up for a video and needed a shelf. So i just screwed a 2x12 to my bench and put a leg under it. Well it was over a area not walked thru but real handy in location esp if shortened just a bit. So I tore it back down and adjusted and wow why the heck didnt I do or think of this before!!

Then I cut another scrap of ply to fill a gap. Again I should have done this years ago. The area was built for my chop saw (now gone)

Then sleeping on these I said why not do same over my main area!! In using a 16x20" cart top and it works and is moveable. But I really have never had the cause to move it other then to sweep or clean up. SO, I did the same thing as other bench. Added a 60x20" piece of scrap 3/4" ply and it fit so that white cart fits under to use its shelf and two drawers.
I really like how it came out and cannot wait to use and try it out!!

Then I have one other small bench 2x4' that I use to stand bullets on plates for power coat and dump out and dry them from quench. So I am washing all my "white" towels and painted the lil steel bench. Now just waiting for the varithane ta dry.

On to Mold Storage...

Id really like to consolidate and utalize a unused HF rolling tool box. But Im just not sure it is big enough.

I filled drawers, emptied them changed thinking I think I have it figured for best efficiency. But I need to take a ride to Lowes/Home Depot and see what they have for plastic boxes. Ideally Id love to find at least four flat boxes that will fit and fill the largest deepest bottom drawer in this chest. (With Lyman & Ideal molds)

I will need to clear those grinder boxes out /off that bottom shelf. I just dont think all the smaller molds can fit in space remaining. (Unless I use that bottom shelf.)

A friend found these boxes last year and I grabbed a arm load. (Need a few more soon) they are made for "snacks" but fit the larger molds real well and even seal out the environment so control oxidation well. I have these in two levels under top lid.
I will also add a piece of plywood to the top for better durability. Id the surface is needed for working.

The LEE molds fit well in the thin drawers and the currently fit pretty well with a little room for a few more is I grow.

The Lee molds take up the most space. All having handles if some kind afixed.
The largest deepest drawer is where I want the single and double cav Lyman & Ideal molds will be stored. The RCBS/Saeco/Lachmillerswill go on bottom shelf in there own box, as they are just a little larger.

Im hoping my handles can all fit in the smaller but deep drawer at the top.

Home Depot had some near perfect Husky two sided boxes 11.99 ea. 20 partitioned places per side. Fits two, single cav, small block molds per spot. Just a lil too small for two with the bigger the large blocks. You can remove partitions for larger blocks if needed.

I filled one easily then half of the second. Used NOE 2 cav HP molds to fill last remaining side.

I used a old single side plastic box for the Saeco and RCBS molds. Two fit in each of 20 partitioned standard spots. This box also has 8 small partitioned places that might just fit a small single cav Ideal or Lyman mold. But its not needed. This is a big flat box 16x22". So it goes under the drawers on the bottom shelf along with my four 12g Russian molds.

Last task was emptying the top right drawer and loading it with handles. They all fit but not very organized. I also have four Lyman molds on permanent handles. I dont have a good place for them. They are lil delicate and Id like them kept safer. So maybe I need keep them wrapped... But everything else fits pretty well. Too many more molds and Ill be bustin at the seams. But for now this works really well!

Craftsman of metals...always learning.
I’ve heard of guys owning that many molds, but only half believed it. Let me guess, you have to search a bit to find the one you want…and then spend 20 minutes pondering whether it’s the best one in your Arsenal for task at hand! :headscratch:

Thats akin to "A GIRL TOO PRETTY" or "TOO MANY GUNS" or even "TOO MUCH MONEY"...
We are all different, and that's a good thing...because, I guess I am in the camp that you 'can' have too many guns and too much money. I can't speak much about the too pretty girl, as they never stick around long enough to get to know, LOL.

I have had it in my head to do a couple things for a while now.
Yesterday, I was up in the reloading/casting rooms...I haven't done anything up there since my back went out in Oct. So yesterday, I started cleaning/organizing/decluttering that I've been itching to do. Last Spring, I got caught up in buying Pellets...thousands of pellets, and they never got put away, until yesterday. Also, I have 5 buckets of 9mm brass to put into storage. Also, I was setup to load 45acp...IDK? maybe a year ago, I tested a couple loads and was gonna load more, but never did. I need to deal with that mess, especially since one of my Cat's have enjoyed digging around in that stuff...once in a while I find a 45 empty case in my livingroom (downstairs from the reloading room)...Dang Cat.
.
Last week, after a conversation on the other forum, I had this thought about casting some 40s when I got up into the casting room. But after I looked at the Mess yesterday, I may just closet that project (like the 45acp), and work on something I'd much rather shoot, like 38 supers or 357mag...I've shot up all my hot loads of 357, so I need some of those...and I have a bunch of those long nose WC's to load in 357 cases (specially for my DW mod 14-2)...I wanna try that Hornady seater die with those WC's...cause the Lee, Lyman, and RCBS seater dies that I have, don't work as good as I like.
