Cluttered and messy reloading bench

I just like old stuff . I have done a little on a couple "later" models . Wedgewoods mostly .
That particular word processor served about 30 years at a Fallon Nv Radio station , KVLV . It's owner flew one of the early airmail routs across central Nv and a commemorative run in the 80s .

I know what you mean! I have a vintage 1910-1915 in my studio's prop room I think it is a Remington.
Used it a few times for Nostalgic Christmas Ads I photographed. Don't have the heart to get rid of it!
It almost went this last studio clean out! but I saved it. Now that the Studio is not going to be sold I will hang on to it as long as I am there.

I watched a show recently on that. They were called the "Suicide Squad" iirc after over 30 of the first 40 airmen died trying to deliver the mail out west.

The only photos I have of my Loading bench were when it was pristine! Do not think I can get any photos of the way it is now because I would need a fisheye lens! It is only 7x6 ft
Yes, these were staged photos before I made the mess I work in! If you average out everyones messy reloading room ....mine would be 1 click above the worst! :embarrassed:

The box marked explosive is BP! In our town we are required to mark such items! Just like in my workshop.... All my Nitric and Sulfuric acid containers are labeled as such! Not like they would know what to do with them in an emergency!
Funny..... Primers and Smokeless powder are not on their list

I do have a bunch more Lyman 55's now and The shelves are full of Red Dot, Bullseye, Unique and American Select now that I shoot primary Rifle loads!
Yes I think these photos need to be revamped!

Other direction. 10x14 got small really fast. Casting, computer, reloading, gunsmithing/cleaning, component and alloy storage, it all soaks up space.

My areas are in the garage and only 7' X 10'.
The bench top extends another 5' to the left, and is used for gun work and cleaning, and general projects.

Turn round 180* and this is storage for loaded ammunition, cast bullets, ingots, gun parts, cleaning stuff, etc.
On the other side of this is the casting bench and machine shop.

He ran Fallon to Winemucca to Elko over a path marked by gas powered beacon lights on 50 ft towers .

That's the ones. Those tower bases were big concrete arrows painted yellow. I remember Winnemucca being mentioned specifically. National Geographic channel has a show called "What on earth" and someone found those arrows and researched their original purpose which sadly, has all but been lost to history.

Been out to a tower , had an eagle nest full of eaglets on top of it .
Mom may have some pictures of the day out , but it would takes days to dig through the boxes .

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I really am going to have to get a shot of my garage. It'll help those of you who think you have a "mess" to feel a lot better about your situation. ;)

Some very nice setups here and some serious clutter. Bret I think takes the clutter cake.
I finally built a dedicated room for loading and casting, with extra storage in the main shop, which includes a cleaning bench which doubles as a ventilated area for smelting ingots.
The idea was to keep the clutter to a workable minimum. Nice lighting, ventilation, heated, and secured.
A couple of a the pictures of rooms posted here have a serious sluff factor. Reminds me of my last space. Built the new room to end the "sluff factor" and so far it's worked. Trust me I'm not a neat freak. To help out with keeping the room originized I have started to purge stuff I no longer use and the junk.
