At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
To die for 1st model 38 ! When I put "colt target" in the Proxibid search, up came 100+ results, not all OMMs but lots of them.

So what ID's an OM Target and which generation? That one looks like mine only a lot mintier.

Well Ben I have to say I think I'm jealous! Sure do wish I had such a great mentor as Trevor has at his age!
I love seeing these videos

Just curious, Ben. While Trevor's rapid fire shooting is definitely well done, and perfect for
self defense and fun shooting, I still wonder what the actual capability of the revolver is.

I am talking about sandbagged, best ammo, all that - I am always curious about what the
limits to accuracy are for particular guns. And you certainly show so amazing groups (superb
shooting, superb guns and superb casting/reloading skills, clearly) with rifles, so I am wondering
what you have been able to achieve with this target Colt.

have to say, if you are patient, and watch GB, you can get a VERY decent old Colt in 32 S&W L/32-20/38 SPC for somewhere in the ~$300-$350 range. 32's are less, 38s a tad more. It won't be a collector grade, but will certainly be a shooter (which is my preference anyway). Bought a couple and about to get a couple more hopefully.

Bill,

Before my grandson Trevor was born, I owned and shot this Colt.
I have shot it in the manner that you describe, off of sand bags on the bench.
It can shoot much better than I can shoot.
At 25 yards, it will " chew a hole " out.
148 gr. W/C bullets sized .357" shoot very well out of the revolver.

Thanks, Ben. I am always curious about what various guns are capable of. Then of course
we see what WE are capable of. :) But trying this with a gun that will not shoot well
is not worth bothering with.
Sounds like a fine piece of equipment.
