No you're thinking of the elephino , or maybe the burrow burro from the bourough , it's some kind of push me pull you , it can't tell one end from the other or a hole in the ground generally from the burbs .

It's good there are guys on here who know what they are talking about. Me, I don't even know what I'm asking about.
So, my question on grease for firearms. I have a tub of aeroshell 33(I think it is.) that I bought for ar15 upper receiver assembly. Would that make a good durable grease for firearm lubricant?

I've been using Mobil 1 5w30 on my Browning A5's and my vehicles for a long time. Mainly because of the cold here. I may give that Mobil 28 a shot, but like 358156 was thinking about wheel bearings in off road and trailer bearings. I used Mystic JT6 for years, then went to a synthetic grease, also Mystic brand. The JT6 stuck around well but was stiff on cold mornings, the synthetic doesn't change viscosity in the cold. There wasn't anyone selling Mobil1 greases here at all then within a year everyone, including Wal Mart is stocking them.

The $15/lb "Mobil 1 synthetic" grease is garbage from what I've seen, think "consumer grade". Mystic JT-6 red high-temp grease is also pretty sorry grease, it's all my boss lets me stock at work and I've seen 10 years of repeat failures in everything from wheel bearings to equipment bushings. It does ok indoors if you replace it annually, but it leaks oil out of the tubes and will soap lock a track adjuster in just a few years. Expose it to even a little moisture and it's game over. The antimony-based, buttery Mystic is better for a lot of things but IMO there are lots better conventional lithium greases than many of the parts house synthetics or either of those offerings from Mystic. Don't get me wrong, Mobil makes some top-shelf stuff, just make sure that's what you're really choosing if top shelf is what you want.
