Creeker Video Trick for primers

Sorry Bruce but I just saw this. The straw trick is just some simple thing that mostly works. Glad you enjoy the channel. I don't see the rattlesnakes I did years ago for what ever reason so I normally let them go unless they are near the cabin.

I had to wrap tape around my straw to prevent it from slipping into the ram. No primers on the floor is a great thing!

One of the best tips in many years

Oh, I never loose them. Or at least not for long. They show up all over the house. In the car. On the driveway.

Shoe tread makes a hell of a primer catcher.

Reminds me of one of Mitty’s posts about being down to something like 40 primers. Lamar said, (I’ve got that many in the carpet!) lol!!!
Too true.

Lynn. I just went through your vids. My favorite by far was the Thursday night Bible study. Spot on Brother.

Never woulda thought of that!

I just started on a pile of 357 brass yesterday and quit because 8 of 10 primers went anywhere but into the spent primer reservoir of my old LEE 3-hole turret press. I'd made up an origami-looking, winged thingy out of a plastic file folder which slides into the hole for the primer arm, which is SUPPOSED to deflect primers into the reservoir. Worked for a while and now NOT. These S&B primers come out with a "pinnnng" and in all directions. Interestingly, CCI and Wolf primers don't do that.

I'm going to try this in the morning!

Both my RCBS RockChucker and the P-W P-200 have a pretty good batting average on putting spent primers where they supposed to end up--in the .700-.750 ballpark. The only/ultimate counter-measure remains a good shop vacuum, and that new one I got earlier this year is a peach. When Marie gets serious about housecleaning, she drags it inside the house to handle matters. She loves the thing.
