My FIL had a triple when he was 88, he too was up and about in pretty short order, lived another 9 years like nothing ever happened.
The surgeries are pretty straight forward and routine these days, serious stuff, but the process is well refined. Non the less, all the best CW, looking forward to seeing you back. Heal up soon!

I had a neighbor in his late 70's go thru this, my riding buddy Jake go thru this at 81 and another guy I worked with in his 70's. The last guy was a quintuple bypass. All did well. Lost the neighbor to cancer several years later. But Jake and Boris are still going strong. Jake is 84 now. I mentioned to CW that 6 months after Jake had his, he took a bike ride from NY to SC to visit friends and family. After Boris had his quint, the Doc told him to do anything he wanted. Said he was in better shape than an 18 year old kid.

Wishing him the best!

How did I miss this? I see he is posting and liking posts so that is good.

Here's hoping whatever procedures he goes though are successful and he gets back on his casting feet.

Okay, I thought this was new news as well. I just went back to look at older posts. CW told us about his chest pains and heart attack last week in "Whatcha doin' today" section. So, we knew about this before those on the other site. Note that they mentioned last Thursday. When I read the post on the other site and they said "he had ANOTHER heart attack, I interpreted that to be in addition to l what happened last week. I think other may have interpreted the same way. It was just a timing thing. Since he's posted here since, his condition has not worsened and he's not had a second heart attack since last week.

Maybe CW had a heart attack in the past before I joined here. That might be why they said "another" heart attack.
