UPDATE;

Posted to the " What ya doing today" thread forgetting about this one..

Now tried ta copy paste but thats not a option.

Doing very well but cant do anything till November. (Ooh I can drive again come October.) Mid November I can ease back into normalcy. But No heavy Recoil till next year & even then wants me ta go slow and not shoot if I can avoid it. I explained basics about recoil & calibers. He only knew a 12 ga kicked. I said I dont need shoot anything heavy recoiling. He OKd hunting as long an light recoil. I also explained it was not target shooting and one shot usually sufficed.

So Drs is happy! I just need be patient. Casting in Nov reloading in October but not strenuous. So, no case forming type stuff.

Took a bit of a side step over night. My wife is now in ER. She was in great pain not able to move her left leg without excruciating pain. She has just had a MRI to see whats happening on Sunday. (No answer yet) pinched nerve is suspect.

Heading in to see her shortly.

Prayers are still with you. One said for your wife.
Mine broke a bone in her hand and put two fingers out of joint just as soon as I was getting better.
So now we have a morning ritual. I wrap her Bo Bo and she patches up mine.
Sometimes you just have to work with what ya got. ;-)

Sorry to hear your wife is hurting. My wife has been thru this twice. Excrutiating pain. Took many visits to the chiro and rest. Icing helps as it reduces inflammation. If she has extra weight, it helps to get some off.

I can tell from personal experience that building stomach muscles helps your back. I have no discs left and my vertebrae are full of arthritic spurs. My abs are rock hard. Work out 3 times a week. I used to have lots of issues with my back. Tune-ups with a good chiro and strong abs put an end to it. I also take glucosamine wit MSM to keep the arthritis at bay. My wife knows all this but will not do the excercise. She is on a mission to shed weight.

Hope your wife gets thru this quickly.

Was just thinking, CW, you might want to arrange for snow removal, including sidewalks for this winter. Get someone now before they are all booked up.

Thank you sir. All thoughts and kind words much appreciated!! ♥️

The new place is as nice as I remembered. VERY nice grounds and court yards. Nice rooms and so far very nice staff.
They attempted to evaluate her but was unable as to pain so Dr needs to step in and find out why she is in so much pain.
She sent me pics last night where they washed her hair. She was smiling and happy. Food has been very good nice improvement over hospital food!!

So I think she is lil happier.

Probably Monday for any real help but we see what today brings.

Slow steady improvements for me.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I don't know how it works for anyone else, but any excess weight (Define "excess" Bret?!) tends to complicate any health issue I have. My family thinks I have unbelievable self control. They don't understand the fear I have of arthritic pain!!! I hope you keep the weight off CW, it just makes life so, so much easier!
