That's right. The RMR is Trigicon flagship reflex site. It pretty much Set the standard for what a proper reflex site should be. (But very costly)

all I can add is a bought a glock 21 in 45acp of course just to have cred when I say they suck.
Though adding Dawson sights with the red insert on the front is nice.

I am all about metal sights on a carry handgun.
I have Tru Glo "Ghost Ring"Trillium night sights on my build. I love them. They are aluminum, way more rugged then the Glock plastic ones. The rear sights sticks up just enough to do a one handed rack with, but Is shaped right that it will not catch clothing on a draw. When I got them I had too high a front sights and was shooting low. They traded me for the right height, no problem.
Only issue was the learning curve. Once I figured them out I want them on all my sa pistols. At $75 bucks the price was right too.
I guess if I had a reach out and get you pistol like the 10mm bear gun, I would probably be going with a reflex sight. But my auto pistols are all carry friendly size.

The funny part to me is you'll are writing about 9mm's !
Remember reading about what was going on with the Moro's and how 38 Specials would not stop them ?
But at least you do carry something.
That was with the anemic .38Long Colt, a much less powerful cartridge then a 9x19.

And with a round nose non-expanding sub sonic bullet.
Hahahaha, sub sonic, perhaps even visible in flight! Trying to remember when I was replicating the black powder load for my wife's Richards Mason conversion .38 long colt replicas, was the bullet weight 130 grains? At least the BP loads were loud and scary.

To what Emmett wrote, I find all Glock front sights to be about 3/4" too low. When I poke them out there at the target the barrel is pointing over the berm.

I don’t recall it so most likely not?

I do like the low barrel over grip, not much muzzle flip.
