I became a father again today. My Handi 223 got together with my 30/30 and they presented me with a 45/70.

Handi barrels are just like Lays Potato Chips. You can't have just one.
I may have to sell my contenders to get more Handies.

If you don’t already have a 45-70 mold be sure to do a pound cast before ordering one. Both of the 45-70 handi rifles I’ve had dealings with had very short throats that really limited bullets you could use. That is unless they were seated really deep.
