Small end of the pen goes down through the cup and spring and into the slide if memory serves

Put the pin in thru the top of the cup. Spring goes as you have it. Use the ram to compress the spring but pushin down on the top of the cup, once depressed snug up the set screw to hold the pin in place.

Brad has it.

use the press handle in the up [seating a primer] position and tighten the lock nut.
after that you can make small adjustments to get your seating depth set where you like it.

then order a large one or another slide if you have the cup etc. set it up and just swap out the whole slide.
or do like i did and buy 4 of the machines so you never have to touch a slide again.

Brad has it and I'll add that from the above photo, you'll need to loosen that set screw, remove the pin from the bar, assemble it the way Brad reported. When you remove the pin from the bar you will see a rebated section on the bottom of that pin where that set screw engages. (it's apparent when you get it apart). That spring is rather stiff and you can use the press to compress it so that you can tighten that set screw back in the correct position. OR you can do it off the press if you can compress the spring enough to get the pin in the proper position.
And just to make it easy - that set screw is a 3/32" Allen.
Here are some photos:

Yeah. Total brain fart on my part. Problem was the new primer cup I was trying to use that Dillon sent me would slip over the pin. Hole is too small. I was racking my brain( maybe a couple glasses of wine) trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Grabbed the old part and now I’m good to go.

Depends-
Are you permitted to use them or have someone make a part for you?

I bet you have some tools there that would do anything you could ever need done

I could use them if I knew how. My buddy at work is a machinist and a gun guy/reloader. He made an alignment tool for me for the Dillon. 1732827029667.jpeg

Nice!
It is good to have friends with skills and tools.
I am not the most mechanically inclined or confident guy so when I see the stuff someone like Iam does I am in awe.
Kinda like someone we know who is great at making videos. Not good, great.
