Dillon 550C Case Feeder

I saw a video from Double Alpha demonstrating their new case feeder for the Dillon 550. It was supposed to hit the market last year and is not listed on the website. I sent an email and they replied that they had problems with the 223 feeding and it should be available 1 quarter 2020. Just thought if anyone was interested I'd pass it on.

I don't know why the 550 would have trouble, the 650's case feeder is the best part of the machine.

Dillon doesn’t offer a case feeder for rifle brass on the 550. Since it looks like I may go down the AR rabbit hole I was interested. Not sure if you looked for it but it’s nothing like the typical Dillon case feeders. Maybe I should get a 750 to go side by side with my 550

I will be upgrading my 650 to a 750 as soon as they offer the frame upgrade this spring.
[just because I really, really, really hate the 650's priming wheel]
to me there isn't really a lot of difference in speed between a 550 and the 650.
the primer tube filling tool will save about as much time as a machine upgrade in the long run.
you burn up plenty of time in case prep, annealing, trimming, rifle cases.
the machine just saves the time on the assembling portion.
for something like the 9mm/40 short, if your shooting 500 rds a weekend, then a full auto, carbide die setup is the way to go.
a round every 5 instead of 5.6 seconds isn't gonna make that much of a difference over 3hrs of press time.

Someone is offering a 650 w/case feeder in swap/sell.

Really like having the case feed on the lnl. Not about time savings just convenience I guess.
