Does anyone remember this lube ?

Don't remember where I first got it but I used this for many years. I remember it is grease based and I would have to clean the loaded rounds of any excess that got on the cases. Switched to CR in the 80's to avoid that and I still have a bunch of this.

I remember it.
I even had a second hand recipe for it some time back.

I'd just mix it with the CR and use it up.

There was a few pounds of this stuff for sale on eBay last week. I thought that the label art work was funny.
So, yep I remember it from last week!

Yes I do. The guy that made it has passed on many years ago. About 15 years ago I helped a friend in FL do a qualitative analysis on the lube. It is a good hot temperature lube, but not so much below 50 degrees outside. Plus it was designed only for pistol cartridges. There were several batches of it remade, but haven't heard about any commercial interests. HTH

From Riverside, CA. Interesting.

The now-defunct Javelina Bullet Lube was made in nearby San Bernardino. I wonder how many pounds of Javelina I have sent downrange over the years.

In the early 90’s, my dad, brother and I went to the Expo Mart gun show in Monroeville Pa. all the time.
An older gentleman sold 50/50 alox -beeswax lube he made in sticks with the exact same cartoon on the wrapper. His wrapper was white paper.
He worked for PPG plate glass division.
He also sold pure tin for $3.00 lb that I’d trade for with Lino that I had.
I paid .35 per lb and would trade him 8lbs or so for 1 of tin.
His name was Zig Grosz.
He’s long gone.
I thought somewhere I had a stick but can’t find it.
Thanks for the memory jog.

Axman - I went to the Monroville show during the 70's before I moved. Was always a good show. That's where I saw my first Dillon press. Memories.
