Los Angeles just had a 5.9 Earthquake at about 2345 hrs Friday night .
Now downgraded to a 4.6 Richter Scale.

Talking heads are now at Their babbling best.
GEEZ ! sheeple you live in LA , why make so much noise ?
Ought to be used to it after the 1st 2 or 3.

Left Southern California in the early 70's because I was going to end up dead or in jail. Moved to Alaska and been enjoying freedom every since.

Remember about 1972 big quake, it was about 7.2 IIRC, freeway bridges came down.
4.6 sounds like a slow news day.

The current betting line is showing 4.8 and centered in south San Gabriel. Life-long southern Kalifornistanian, I slept right through the quake and some large critter jumping onto our south backyard fence soon thereafter and giving the neighborhood dogs a lot to carry on about. Marie saw it for about a second, and describes it as either a coyote or juvenile mountain lion. Just another fun evening on civilization's edge.

Yep, dogs don't even bark if the coyotes are just walking to the next dumpster at the low-income apartments at the end of the road, just the nightly activity. Bears and mountain lions will make them upset, especially Ms. Tillie the bulldog. What they really hate are the California Grey Ground Squirrels who sneak into the yard to steal walnuts.
