At large, whereabouts unknown.
The last ones I had used self-tapping screws. That was awhile ago though.

Aha! I missed the "6 cavity" part. I ain't never had one, ignore me:sigh:

Both bolts are threated the same 1/4-28 when I had to do maintenance on one of mine.
I'm down to only one six-cavity, but the sprue cutter attachment bolt hole got wallowed out, so I drilled and tapped all the way through the mould body and installed a larger and longer bolt, nut and set screw. Thus, I am no help.

Perhaps it's just me, but an aluminum mould body, and an aluminum sprue cutter with its attached handle and lever, all held together by a steel bolt didn't work out so well.

Thanks thats what I needed I could go to store and compare taps to bolt but this way I can order a tap that lowes would not have anyway due to my luck, thanks

I'm not sure about the 6 holer but read that there was a change from right hand to left hand threads somewhere along the line with the double cavity molds.

There was, when they went to the pin and socket alignment system and scribed the top of the blocks. The top block is clearly engraved "LH" and the self-tapping shoulder bolt is indeed left-handed. If you ever take it out you will need to cross-drill and tap for a set screw to retain it.
