Ever forget you owned a mould?

Yes I have had molds I've forgotten about. I have also found guns in my safe and have no idea how they got there. I accepted that they were gifts. :)

Part of our problem I think is that most of us have to much "Stuff", like
George Carlin used to say. The more we have, the harder it is to
keep straight.

I was looking for something.......

I was deep in the basement at the bottom of some boxes in the southwest corner.....

I opened the very bottom box of 'junk'......

There were two double cavity Lyman molds brand new!

I opened the .44 mold box as the number didn't ring a bell.......... 429303???? Gad! Some pointed gascheck thing!

I thought "Where did these come from"???? Had to been when I had an FFL. I figured 1985 ish.... I remembered getting several Lyman molds well under wholesale back then. But I could only remember Keith bullet versions as I could sell them easy......

The other mold was a 358477....... The current thread going on this mold makes me wonder???? What variation number is this one????

I wanted something I KNEW I had last night. But had rearrange entire reloading room, "organized," etc... Too derned well it seems. I could not find what I was looking for at first spin. Tore out one cabinet 3 times. Finally, as I about to tear up nearly everything else and start dumping stuff on the floor, fortunately I remembered where I had put them. Thank gawd!
