I will admit that mine is the 25 Remington in a pump action Model 14. But others talk about problems with 25's. What do you shoot that you like in 25 caliber?

I just got an old Ruger M77 tang safety in .257 Roberts. I have not shot cast in it yet but plan to someday.

I have a 1916 DWM in 257 Roberts that should be shooting this year . I'm trying not to talk myself into a 25-45 Sharps but I and me aren't making it easy ..........

Mine is a Marlin M94/.25-20 CL w/ old Weaver K3. Generally shoot 86gr FN H&G over 3grs of BE with W/W brass and primers. Very mild bunny loading.

BTW Ric....your tome on the .25-20 from THE FOULING SHOT #213 is a keeper. Have read/re-read several times!

I haven't read the article.
the only 25 cal I shoot cast in is my 25-20's.

I have too many rifles to cast for now and the bob's and 0-6's just don't get a second thought about getting cast put in them.
if I need little I have the 223's, 30 carbine and 25-20's.
if I need a little more I have the 7's if I need easy I shoot the 30's or 35's. [or reach for a lever gun]
the 24,25 and 26 calibers just don't come in loud and clear enough to me to try getting cast down their pipes.
[that and accurate won't cut molds that small]

Thank you Steve, I have kept the rifle and still shoot it. Will have it out for shooting coyotes around the lambing sheds next month.
