Thanks guys. I'm going to try to post here more. I see Ian and run and Waco and Ben are here. I thought something happened to Ben I have not seen him. Good to still see he is still showing everyone what a plainbase bullet can do!

I was surfing around here last night over past content. It looks like you guys really like the 30 hunter. That would not be possible without help from listening what works and what does not work from Run, Ian, Goodsteel on fit and Larry Gibson on the lubegroves.

The inspiration for this was 45.2 or whateverhis name was SIL mold. While it shot well. The problem came from Mihec not able to cut a 30 cal. Mold. The mold is supposed to be equal on both sides not 52% of the bullet on one side and 48 on the other.

So the 188 hunter was born. I had a brand new Shilen select match 308 win barrel made for my Savage. The chamber throat was supposed to be cut for the 168 Sierra matchking according to Shilen. I did 4 pound cast and came up with a few measurements. I talked to Al about modifying the k31 mold. And we played around and that's the story of the hunter.

But like I said it was from what I learned from Run Ian Tim Larry is what helped. Run helped with another really good one is a 30-165A from accurate molds

That's 45 2.1 that designed that 30 Silhouette mould. Like everyone in industry Miha has his problems too. There were a few that got those messed up moulds like Ian, my cousin, and another fellow to name a few. That bullet is one of the most accurate bullets we've shot. Like any other bullet you have to know how to load it correctly and that goes against all most of us have learned.

I really like that noe 30 hunter too. Ben was kind enough to gift me a few and they shot great in my .308.
I've got to get that mould. I was working on more speed when i ran out of what i had, and it was still shooting great.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Huh. So nothing has changed over there. Ban anyone that ruffles the feathers of the Politiburo. Bunchaflippinretar....well, lets just say I was highly disappointed in how that place turned out.
